Buecher spielen eine wichtige Rolle, insbesondere das Bookcrossing. Die Idee dahinter in Kuerze: Buecher, die nicht nur in meinem Regal wohnen sollen, duerfen reisen. Das entsprechende Buch wird mit einer Bookcrossing-ID versehen und wird dann weitergereicht oder wild ausgesetzt in der Hoffnung auf einen buecherlesenden Finder, der eine entsprechenden Journaleintrag unter http://www.bookcrossing.com/ verfasst.
